Personal life
Pascale was born to Western Indian parents (Caribbean) in Hackney at The Mothers' Hospital and was nurtured as soon as he was born. She was adopted at the age of 18 months and raised in Oxfordshire by a white family. When his adoptive parents divorced when he was three years old, Pascale lived with his mother, who later became ill. At this point, at the age of seven, he was nurtured into more than one family, with varying degrees of 'suitability'. Finally he returned to his mother. He won a full scholarship awarded by the Buttle Trust and was so educated at a boarding school in Devon.
Pascale has an older foster brother and step sister (his adoptive father has a daughter after the divorce). He knows the identities of his biological parents and their other four children, but he does not want to re-establish relationships.
Pascale married Polish musician, Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill and the couple had a daughter. The couple split up in 2000 and then divorced.
