Cook's Country is a half hour American television show on the PBS channel. The event is based on Cook's Country magazine (published by the same company as Cook's Illustrated ) and the magazine cover appears at the beginning of each episode.
The tenth season of the show aired in the fall of 2017.

Cast
Cook's Country is similar to America's Test Kitchen , with many of the same players. Christopher Kimball, Bridget Lancaster and Julia Collin-Davison are especially featured, with Erin McMurrer joining regular players in Season 2. Jack Bishop is once again in charge of the Tasting Lab, while Adam Ried continues to showcase new products at Equipment Corner. During Season 1, Kimball's neighbor Axel Blomberg occasionally appeared on the screen with a pre-eminent prescription serving, showing how the recipe could be executed poorly.
Julia Collin-Davison did not appear during Season 2, after giving birth to a girl shortly before the season's episode was filmed. He's back in Season 3.
On November 16, 2015, press releases from Boston Commons Press, Cooks Country's parent company, Cooks Illustrated, and America's Test Kitchen, announced the departure of Christopher Kimball due to a contract dispute. The TV Season 9 program has already been filmed with Kimball as the host, but he will not appear in the upcoming episodes.
Like Season 17 of America's Test Kitchen and due to the departure of Christopher Kimball, Cook's Country is hosted by Bridget Lancaster & amp; Julia Collin-Davison begins in Season 10. Also in Season 10, ATK members Ashley Moore, Christie Morrison and Bryan Roof are added to the player while Erin McMurrer, after moving to American's Test Kitchen, is no longer visible in the air in Cook's Country (but still credited as a crew member behind the scenes).

Unlike its predecessor, Cook's Country focuses on more rough recipes, especially those from South America or the Southwest. The host starts each segment with a historical perspective on each recipe before the demonstration.
The Tasting Lab Segment was filmed before a live audience at the site, a farmhouse in Rupert, Vermont.

A title card at the end of every Season 1 episode reads "In Memory of Felicia Armstrong (1978-2007)", a kitchen assistant who was killed on November 1, 2007.
