Ted Alspach is a board game designer and author of over 30 books on graphics, publishing, and the web. He is best known as the board game designer of Mad King Ludwig Castle, Suburbia, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Ultimate Werewolf , and Werewords . As a writer, he is best known for his books relating to Adobe Illustrator, including the bestselling Illustrator for Dummies and Illustrator Bible series. Other books he has written include Photoshop Complete , Microsoft Bob , Quick Tour Internet Mail , Quickstart Guide Visual Acrobat , and the Visual PageMaker Quickstart Guide . Ted was hired by Adobe Systems as group product manager for Adobe Illustrator and Creative Suite from 1999-2006, overseeing the launch of Illustrator 9, 10, CS, CS2, and Creative Suite CS and CS2.
He is a patent writer for vector-based flares, written when he was in Adobe.
He, together with his wife Toni Alspach, runs Bezier Games, Inc., which publishes titles from Ted Alspach and other designers, including Tom Lehmann, Freidemann Friese, Scott Caputo and Rob Daviau.

Alspach is the creator of the online comic strip and Print Board 2 Pieces , which is a sloping humor on boardgaming that is told by the pieces of the game itself. The comics appear twice a week at www.opinionatedgamers.com from 2010 to 2012. From 2006 to 2010, this comic appeared on Boardgamenews.com and previously appeared in a larger format of every magazine edition Knucklebones (previously it was closed).
