History

Adobe Marketing Cloud includes an analytical, social, advertising, media optimization, targeting, Web experience management, and content management products devoted to the advertising industry and hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like other Adobe Cloud services (for example, Adobe Creative Cloud), Adobe Marketing Cloud allows users with a valid subscription to download entire collections and use them directly on their computers with open access to online updates.

The Adobe Marketing Cloud collection was introduced to the public in October 2012 when Adobe began stopping the Omniture name it acquired in October 2009. The dead company product is then integrated gradually into a new Cloud service that includes the following eight applications: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Social, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Media Optimizer, Adobe Campaign, Audience Manager, and Primetime. In November 2013, Adobe Systems introduced its mobile features into its Marketing Cloud, turning smartphone and other mobile devices into new targets for analytics.

On September 15, 2009, Omniture, Inc. and Adobe Systems announced that Adobe will acquire Omniture, an online marketing and web analytics unit in Orem, Utah. The $ 1.8 billion deal was completed on October 23, 2009, and now merges with other Adobe acquisitions such as Day Software and Efficient Frontier, as a major component of Adobe's Digital Marketing Business Unit. Around 2012, Adobe attracts the Omniture brand while its products are integrated into Adobe Marketing Cloud.
